Heritage Restoration and substantial renovation (Brooklyn)
The former Police Station and Sergeant’s residence is a fascinating building with original features such as the former cell. As it had been divided into two houses, the new owners are restoring it back to a single residence, opening up walls to create substantial living spaces yet retaining and restoring original features which add to the unique charm of this 1898 building.
Heritage experience
Prior to starting her own Architectural Practice, Abigail was employed for over 5 years for a major Heritage Architectural firm (Clive, Lucas, Stapleton and Partners) and worked as a Senior Architect on a significant number of State listed historic houses and buildings, only a few of which are shown here.
