New Layout & Extension (Lindfield):

The existing kitchen, dining and rumpus rooms were closed in and dated. A fresh, large and light combined open plan was created by opening up and extending out with large sliding doors filling the room with light and fresh air to a new under covered outdoor space. In addition, a new under stair wine cellar/bar area was added as well as a new bathroom upstairs. Rather than covering over, steel support beams were painted and left exposed on the ceiling to create a segregated, modern looking ceiling with added height.

Extensive Internal Renovations (Glenhaven):

The clients had lived with a tired, dark kitchen, laundry and bathrooms for many years and were keen to open up the house to more light and contemporary design. We combined living and dining into one open space with a central fireplace, new windows and doors. Walls were removed to allow a large Hamptons style kitchen and huge island.

New Outdoor Living (St Ives):

Extend your living space to the outdoors. In this case, an under utilized outdoor verandah and patio area was combined and expanded upon with a roof allowing spacious outdoor living with a clean and contemporary look connecting to the existing pool.

Extensive Internal Renovations (Turramurra - BAL FZ zone):

A young family required an extensive gut to their late 1950's home which involved installing a large contemporary kitchen to the rear, opening out onto an extensive new deck. An old spiral staircase was replaced with a new Hampton style stair and new bathrooms and other spaces were changed throughout.

New Wing (Pymble):

The existing living room was narrow and dark so the owners wanted to put in some bi-folds and add a bedroom  - we ended up instead pushing the living room out by 1m and transformed the formerly narrow room into a large, light, airy and far more functional space. In addition a new Master suite wing was added with soaring raked ceilings, a generous window seat looking onto the garden, a large ensuite with long vanity to accommodate the professional makeup artist client’s needs and walk in robe. A Vergola also transformed the exterior to allow year round usage of the outdoor entertaining area.

New Wing (West Pymble):

The original house was a 1950’s War Services home which was pokey with a tiny enclosed kitchen, lacked light and needed some TLC. We extended out the back with a new deck, large open kitchen, new Laundry/Mudroom and WC and new window seat to the dining/living area.

Knock Down Rebuild (Wahroonga):

The owner had approached several home building companies, none of whom could fulfil their brief. We instead worked with the existing site (and existing pool) to create a substantial home that ticked the client’s boxes, met the budget and brief with the owner adding their own design style throughout.

First Floor Extension and "Man Cave" (Pymble):

We extended over the existing garage to add a new Master suite, including ensuite and walk in robe. Other works included a Man Cave to the pool (with Kitchen and Bathroom) and new Laundry.
